Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Frederick von Knophen is a gorgeous 18 month old sable German Shepherd. The sable shepherds are popular in Germany and are bred to be working dogs. They're usually more sturdy than other shepherds and have the straighter back. Frederick is a very nice boy, loving and sweet. He rode well in a van with several other dogs from the shelter, males and females. He is your typical big love bug who loves being close to his humans. Our volunteer who took his pictures adores sables and fell in love with him the moment she saw him. His coat is thick and soft, someone must have taken good care of him. Frederick's affectionate personality is just icing on the cake. He is a catch!
